- The cause of higher recurrent rate of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) following complete therapy by surgical resection or transcatheter arterial chemoembolization (TACE) might be induced by declined vascular endothelial suppressor factor following exact removal of HCC. We would like to report a case revealed adrenal metastasis following complete therapy of intrahepatic multiple HCCs by TACE and then thoracic spine metastasis following surgical resection of adrenal HCC. This patient has been alive for 1 year and 4 months since diagnosis to HCC.
